Ethereum has long been the dominant platform for smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps), but scalability issues and high gas fees have led many to search for alternatives—often dubbed "Ethereum killers." However, what if the next major competitor isn’t a new blockchain but Bitcoin itself?

1. Bitcoin’s Evolution Beyond Store of Value
   Traditionally, Bitcoin (BTC) has been viewed primarily as "digital gold"—a decentralized store of value rather than a platform for smart contracts. However, recent developments suggest Bitcoin is expanding its utility:
